Time to get down to some serious knitting!

After I finish a few other little projects I am going to begin The Stewart Thistle Tam that Marin from O-Wool designed. I will post the pictures soon. All I can say is that the colors are complete eye candy and I have a very difficult time passing the shelf with out fondling them.

The view out of the back of the store.
Vermont is such a beautiful winter wonderland!

With the Holidays over, the snow falling and the wood stove blazing it is time to get back to our personal projects. I have wanted to do the “Tangled Yoke” sweater from Interweave Knits Fall 07 since the issue came out! When I heard Rowan was shipping my “ Felted Tweed” I had to start right in on it (even though it was during holiday knitting time, I had to sneak it in!). Rowan’s “Felted Tweed” has not let me down and I am in love with it. Soon “Kidsilk Haze” will be here as well so we can work up some gauzy layering pieces!  I cant wait to wear all of them!
My other sweater project is “Knitting Pure & Simple” Neckdown Boat Neck Sweater out of
O-Wool’s Classic Worsted new color “Lilac”. This is going to be a great staple sweater for many winters to come. Allison keeps pointing out that I have been making everything out of purples. Maybe purple is the new black for me, who knows. Pair this sweater with a cute pair of jeans, tank underneath, a drapey cowl (which I am planning on making with The Fibre Company’s “Terra”), some boots and you are ready for the day or night out (at least here in Brattleboro).
