Who doesn’t love a boat neck sweater!
So I finished the Boat Neck Sweater from Knitting Pure and Simple with Lilac Classic from O-Wool. It was so lovely to knit with and gets sooooo soft after washing it. This sweater did continue my love for purple and I think I am going to stick with the trend.
I began the Stewart Thistle Tam That Marin from
O- Wool designed and it is wonderful! I haven’t gotten far because I was distracted by some other projects but it still calls to me every time I pass it! Kate started one in different colors and It gives it a whole other feel!

I mentioned that I got distracted and it was by the cover Vest from the latest Knitscene (WInter/ Spring 2010. It tempted me with its movie knitting appeal that I just couldn’t say no! So after about 3 late night flicks it is almost done! For the body I used Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride worsted and the for the cowl, Julia from Nashua Yarns for next to the skin softness. I also wanted Allison to see I could knit something that is not purple. Another day or two and I will post some pictures of the finished product
